Having moaned about their side’s lack of firepower all summer, the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern were shocked to see their side notch three goals yesterday.
Sadly for them, they conceded four.
As Arsene Wenger gets off to the worst possible start, the Gunners propping up the bar have been all but drowning their sorrows.
However, according to ESPN, those in North London could finally be handed a transfer boost.
Amid their struggles yesterday, reported target Alexandre Lacazette notched a stunning hat-trick for Lyon in their season opener against Nancy yesterday.
Now, the report claims that the Frenchman IS open to the idea of leaving France this summer, should the right offer come along.
The Gunners are understood to have had an offer snubbed by Les Gones, though the 24-year old has issued somewhat of a come-and-get-me plea.
Whether or not the French international is the man to cure their striking woes remains unclear, though he has stoked the fire.
“If there are offers that can’t be refused, I’d like to not refuse them,” he told French TV show Canal Football Club.

“But I’m very comfortable at Lyon. The proof was there today that I was in the right state of mind.
“I scored three goals — I’m pleased. With my teammates, everything is going well. So for me all is well.”
