Wenger handed welcome Arsenal injury boost at last

There’s a familiar air of frustration amongst the conversations of the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern right now, having watched their side struggle through November.

After losing ground in the title race, as well as making life more difficult for themselves in the Champions League, the Gunners propping up the bar need some liquid relief to truly vent their frustration.

Still, our north London locals have been handed something to shout about following reports from the Sun, with many of them in lighter moods since reading them.

They’ve revealed Hector Bellerin is expected to return to training within the next week or so, far earlier than expected.

One of Arsene Wenger’s most important players, the Spaniard was injured during the recent clash with Tottenham Hotspur and was widely expected to be out for around 10 weeks.

However, the right-back is thought to be closing in on a return and could reportedly be back in action around mid-December, representing a huge boost for the club’s title challenge.

It’s believed the La Roja international will start running at the club’s Colney training base next week before gearing up for his involvement working with the rest of the first-team.

How vital is Bellerin to Arsenal’s title challenge? Let us know below..
