Arsenal fans have endured a disappointing campaign on the whole, with the Gunners looking woeful in the Premier League and once again exiting the Champions League at the Round of 16 stage.
The poor form sees Arsenal likely to miss out on the Champions League entirely next season and has left question marks hanging over the head of manager Arsene Wenger, who’s under intense pressure to walk this summer.
However, Arsenal sealed their place in the FA Cup final later this month by beating Manchester City at Wembley last week and Gary Neville believes lifting the trophy at Wembley would constitute a successful season for the Gunners, which has sparked quite a debate on social media.
Whilst some fans feel he has a point, others believe it’s a sign that Arsenal’s expectations have significantly dropped – although our landlord is pointing out that fans would have probably bitten your hand off a few years ago if they were offered three FA Cup crowns in the space of four years.
@ArsenalFanTV hes more deluded than Wenger ffs

@ArsenalFanTV You play football to win trophies. Not come top 4 granted we would prefer the league or champions league first but to win 1 of 4 is good

@ArsenalFanTV Well he’s kinda right considering Arsenal have been poor and winning the FA would mean defeating Chelsea aka the bound to be EPL champs

@ArsenalFanTV He does have a point. At least having the mentality to defy all odds and win silverware is succesful. Thats what fans want.

@ArsenalFanTV If he genuinely believes that then he’s an idiot
