Wenger’s failure to sign Sanchez replacement this month will surely end his Arsenal career

The Arsenal fans are becoming increasingly frustrated with speculation relating to the future of Alexis Sanchez.

Alexis Sanchez’s future at The Emirates Stadium has been hanging in the balance since the summer transfer window, but if reports in The Independent which emerged in the last 24 hours are anything to go by, a transfer to Manchester City will be concluded within a week. Arsene Wenger should now be well underway with his search for a replacement for the Chilean forward considering that Sanchez’s departure from Arsenal now appears to be a case of when, rather than if.

The next 6 months will be a defining turning point for the future of Arsenal Football Club, and if Wenger is unable to land a quality replacement for Sanchez this month then surely he will finally be forced to say goodbye to the club he has managed for almost 22 years.

Without a replacement for Sanchez, Arsenal will fail to finish in the top-four, and failure to qualify for the Champions League will certainly force Mesut Ozil out of the exit door if he is not already planning on doing so.

There is no doubt that Arsenal have a very solid group of players with bags of footballing ability, but without Sanchez in the starting eleven, The Gunners will be short of a player who is capable of winning points for the club almost single-handedly.

Very few players in the world are capable of doing what Sanchez can do, however, Wenger must sign a player with the same match-winning abilities to North-London this month in order to save his job.

Wenger’s period in charge of Arsenal will certainly go down as one of the most successful eras in Premier League history, but the Wenger era will have come to a swift conclusion at the end of the season if Sanchez is not adequately replaced this month.
