The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are desperately hoping that their team can conquer the Europa League and return to the Champions League next season. If this happens, Gunners everywhere will be hopeful of a big spending spree to bring in some top players from around the world.
It’s blatantly clear to see right now that Arsenal are a shadow of their former selves. By all accounts, it’s been a poor season but the one glimmer of hope that can amend disappointment is their progression in the Europa League. Right now after a number of absurd trips away, Arsenal will hope it was all worth it is as winning that competition is their only viable route back to Champions League football.
The lure of Champions League football would be very persuasive for transfer targets and us punters believe that if Arsenal want to secure a quality long-term winger, they should look no further than Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz, who is valued at £22.50 million on Transfermarkt.
Arsenal have a lack of options on the wing and 18-year-old Havertz has already risen to stardom over in Germany, proving that right now he is capable of playing very high-level football, something Arsenal will find very attractive.
Havertz has been one of Leverkusen’s most consistent players, having made 29 appearances thus far and returning four goals and seven assists within that time-frame.
Arsenal would be blessed with one of Europe’s top talents if they could add Kai Havertz to the club because the German already at the age of 18 has shown what he can do in a tough Bundesliga. Given the extra quality around him at Arsenal, who knows how good the German could become…
