Looking back on 2014, Arsenal fans will most likely remember it as the year in which their trophy drought was ended with a win over Hull City at Wembley in the FA Cup Final in May.
The negatives however will be the way in which the Gunners saw their Premier League title challenge fall apart in the second half of last season whilst the first half of the 2014/15 campaign has seen them fall dramatically off the pace – despite big money additions the likes of Alexis Sanchez in the summer.
The Gunners have however been given a favourable Champions League draw for the New Year and look the best placed of all major challengers to finish the season in the top four.
And whilst 2014 has been an up and down year, there has still been some of that trademark excellent football from Arsenal – and no shortage of excellent goals.
