The Telegraph have revealed to Arsenal fans in the Football Transfer Tavern that their unhappy forward, Lukas Podolski, is ready to leave the club after expressing his frustration.
It has been a tough season for the German international after only being handed limited a limited amount of game time.
In previous weeks he has said that if the situation doesn’t improve he will look to leave the club, and now after spending even more time on the bench he is certain to leave Arsenal.
“I like London, I like the club, but I don’t like the situation,” he said.
“I’m not some clown who can sit out his contract in the stands.”
Podolski’s contract does not expire until 2016 and he has said that he will speak with Arsene Wenger before the January transfer window opens.
To add to the pressure of him making a decision, his international coach, Joachim Low, said that if he wants to retain his place in the national team he must consider his future at Arsenal.
The former Bayern Munich and Cologne striker has not ruled out a return to the Bundesliga and being linked with a move to Wolfsburg.
