With the transfer window now firmly closed, Arsenal are rumoured to be keeping close tabs on Norwegian striker Mohammed Abdellaoue. The 25 year old currently plays for Bundesliga German side Hanover 96.
The striker is now in to his second season in the German league and has helped Hanover 96 qualify for this year’s Europa league with 13 goals last season. The player has already scored 3 goals so far this season in only 4 league games, Arsene Wenger will closely monitor the strikers progress and could move in with a bid when the January transfer window re-opens, Sunderland are also keeping tabs on the striker and he could be available for as little as 4.5 Million pounds.
Wenger sees Abdellaoue as an ideal replacement for want away striker Nicklas Bendter, the Arsenal manager is hoping to sell the Danish international in the next transfer window before he moves in for Abdellaoue, although not a household name yet, Abdellaoue could soon to be turning heads his direction if he continues to score goals.
