Arsenal are in the midst of a faultless run as of late, and in the last 3 games they have scored 10 goals.
This has not stop Arsene planning for the future of his strike force. Despite the recent goal glut, Arsenal still have longer term worries in the strike force, as Park, Gervinho, and Chamakh have all yet to grab a starting place in the team.
With a number of thee expected to depart in the summer , The Sun is reporting Arsene will fill the gaps with West Brom and Nigeria hit-man Odemwingie.
Odemwingie has taken to the Prem like a duck to water since joining from Lokomotiv Moscow last year. Scoring 15 in his first season, and with 10 goals so far this year. After a slow start to season, Odemwingie has finally found his form from last season.
Arsene had been interested in the player last summer, but was put off by the £8 million price tag. There is no word yet if that fee will be the same, but Odemwingie has just signed a new 3-year deal, so Brom won’t sell cheap.
Odemwingie has a good goal record with lower clubs, but is he the kind of player to carry these goals over into the Champions League? A decent strike option for Arsenal, but surely Gunners fans will still be hoping for Podolski instead.
