West Ham United could have a battle on their hands to keep Marko Arnautovic at the London Stadium.
According to claims in Italy, a bid could come in for the Austria international in the January transfer, with AS Roma thought to be interested.
Arnautovic has been a key player for West Ham during his time with the club, however, speculation about his future has been thrown into doubt recently by his agent, who is also his brother.
It is understood that the attacker wants to play for a ‘bigger club’ and could be interested in leaving the London Stadium outfit.
And, a move to last season’s Champions League semi-finalists could be too good for him to turn down.
There is no doubt that Arnautovic is a key man for West Ham this season and has already started the season in fine form.
The £22.5million-rated ace, as per Transfermarkt, has already hit five goals and provided two assists in Manuel Pellegrini’s new-look Hammers side, although he did pick up an injury in the game against Cardiff City that will cause fans some concern on Tuesday night.
However, if Roma, or anyone else, comes in with a serious offer in January, it may be one that West Ham will have to consider.
