West Ham United couldn’t get their Premier League campaign off to the best start as they were thumped by Liverpool at Anfield.
The Hammers spent big over the course of the summer transfer window as they aim to challenge for a European spot under Manuel Pellegrini. However, it looks as if one of their first team members is attracting interest, as according to the Daily Star, Robert Snodgrass is one of Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce’s loan targets.
Aston Villa could make another loan move for West Ham United’s Robert Snodgrass, as the Scotsman is one of Steve Bruce’s loan targets.
Indeed, the winger spent last season on loan at the Championship club and looks to have taken up a bench role at the London Stadium since returning, so a move back to Villa Park may be in the offing.
Of course, with Marko Arnautovic, Felipe Anderson, Michail Antonio and Andriy Yarmolenko all able to operate out wide, it looks as if a loan move would be suitable.
So, it looks as if West Ham United’s Robert Snodgrass could be heading to Villa Park as the Scotsman is one of Bruce’s loan targets. Indeed, the winger will only be used as a squad rotation player this season, so sending him out on loan wouldn’t worry many supporters.
The Hammers know that Villa can get the best out of Snodgrass having seen his performances and statistics from the last campaign, so they shouldn’t hesitate to gift him regular minutes by sending him out on loan.
