The Aston Villa fans are gathered around the jukebox in The Transfer Tavern this evening discussing comments made about their interim manager.
Metro is reporting that Aston Villa defender Jores Okore has hit out at the selection choices made by Eric Black since he took over on an interim basis from Remi Garde.
The Danish defender was left out of the squad for the weekend game against Southampton with Black suggesting that Okore had told him he didn’t want to play for them again.
Retaliating to Black’s comments, Okore let his feelings known via his Twitter page Okore said:
“I refuse to play?, I was on the bench against Chelsea and the games before, why didn’t I refuse to play those games? There must be more to it then MR. Eric Black is telling you!”
The Aston Villa fans in The Tavern will be glad to see the back of this season and think that if Okore had performed better throughout the season he might have a point but they are not at all bothered about his problems.
