Aston Villa: Fans react to Omar Elabdellaoui transfer rumours

Aston Villa are being linked with move for highly-rated right-back Omar Elabdellaoui, according to the Mail.
Who should start at left-back for Aston Villa, Neil Taylor or Matt Targett?
Taylor

Targett

The Olympiacos defender, who spent two years at Manchester City between 2011-2013, is reportedly being tracked by five Premier League sides, including the Villans.
Elabdellaoui is out of contract next summer so will be available on a free transfer, with any prospective clubs wishing to sign the 27-year-old able to acquire him on a pre-contract agreement on January 1st, ahead of a move in June 2020.
Villa signed French full-back Fred Guilbert from Caen in January but loaned him straight back to the Ligue One outfit until the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
The 24-year-old is now back at Villa Park, however, and has made seven appearances for Dean Smith’s side so far this term (via Transfermarkt).
The other option Aston Villa have to them at right-back is Ahmed Elmohamady, though at 32 years of age now the club could well be on the lookout for a younger alternative in that position, with Elabdellaoui certainly fitting that bill.
