Many Aston Villa fans have responded to a club tweet which shows John McGinn in a ripped shirt with criticisms for the kit manufacturer.
The Villa account posted a picture of the Scotland international with a rip in his shirt, saying “No such thing as a quiet night for @jmcginn7”.
The picture came from Wednesday night’s EFL Cup clash, where they met with Brighton at the American Express Stadium. John McGinn started the match which finished 3-1 to the travellers.
With the Villa account posting a picture of the McGinn in the torn top, many fans took it as an opportunity to express their discontent at Kappa – the kit manufacturer – with many grilling the quality of their kits.
Thankfully for Villa fans, McGinn’s ripped top wasn’t enough to stop his side from winning the game, as Brighton’s young side failed to prevent the Birmingham side from progressing.
Villa will now play local rivals Wolves in the next round of the cup at Villa Park.
