Aston Villa fans take to Twitter to call for Abraham

Aston Villa fans have been treated to a superb video this morning on their club’s Twitter account where they sit down with Tammy Abraham and talk about the transfer window just gone and ask the loanee why he chose to stay at Villa Park. The youngster’s response is something that has given a lot of Villains hope of a permanent move.

Abraham, at the age of just 21-years-old, is a superb striker who has shown exactly what he’s capable of in the Championship for Villa. So far this season, the Chelsea loanee has bagged himself 19 goals and one assist as he’s helped the Villains to a respectable 10th place in the Championship, and considering how close it is between 5th and 13th, a playoff place isn’t out of the question.

If Abraham can carry on with his goal-scoring heroics then there’s no telling how far the club can go. If they manage a playoff spot the fans will be desperate to go one better than they did last season when they fell to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Fulham in the final. Promotion is the only thing that would give them a chance of making Tammy Abraham a permanent Villain, and they’do anything to make that happen.

You can read the Villains’ calls for Abraham here:

The Villains are keen to make Abraham a permanent addition to their squad, even if it costs them a bomb as a Championship side in the summer.
