The Aston Villa fans who are competing in a pool tournament in The Transfer Tavern this evening are discussing the results of a poll on whether their manager should stay or go.
The Birmingham Mail asked readers to vote on whether they thought Remi Garde was the right man for Villa, and a whopping 80% of votes were to see the Frenchman relieved of his duties at Villa Park.
Garde has not improved the quality or commitment from the squad and has seen his side won just three games this season, and are dead certs to relegated to the Championship for the first time in their history in the coming weeks.
The Villa fans in The Tavern have made no secret that they would have preferred an experienced Premier League boss at the helm when Tim Sherwood was relieved of his duties, as Garde has been clearly well out of his depth.
One Villa fan in the corner of the pub by the jukebox wants to see Nigel Pearson in charge at the club, with him feeling that he would instil a new ethos and hard-working attitude that would sort the mess they are in!
Aston Villa fans…. What do you make of this news? Garde out? Garde in? Let us know below!
