Aston Villa prepared for manager to leave in the summer

garde542The Aston Villa fans are competing in a pool tournament in The Transfer Tavern this evening and discussing reports the club could be on the lookout for a new manager this summer.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that players at the club are expecting Frenchman Remi Garde to leave the club in the summer.

Villa look certain to relegated from the Premier League in the coming weeks after what has been a disastorous season at Villa Park.

Garde took over from Tim Sherwood as manager back in November, as the club’s board hoped a change of manager would see an upturn in form, but that has not been the case and Garde has overseen three wins in 20 matches during his tenure at Villa Park, with the the club eight points from safety at the foot of the table.

It is reported that some members of the playing squad believe that the Frenchman will either quit or be sacked when the season ends.

The Aston Villa fans in The Tavern would not be surprised to see Garde exit the club and would not blame the Frenchman especially with the lack of support coming from the boardroom.

Villa fans, who’s to blame this season? Let us know in the comments!
