Aston Villa have dropped off the pace recently as they just can’t seem ensure consistency in the Championship under Steve Bruce.
Indeed, the Villains will have their sights set firmly on securing an automatic promotion place as they won’t want to go down a similar route to the last campaign. And, it looks as if they’ve been looking at a potential signing recently, as according to the Mirror, Aston Villa are ready to switch their attention to Robert Huth.
Aston Villa are reportedly planning to make a move to sign Robert Huth after missing out on John Terry.
Sadly, it’s understood that Terry is now set to complete a move to Spartak Moscow after undergoing a medical, with Huth being seen as the alternative for the Chelsea legend.
And, it’s thought that the German is set to be approached within the next 48 hours about a move to Villa Park.
Aston Villa will be gutted that they’ve missed out on securing the services of John Terry having witnessed his brilliance in the last campaign.
However, Robert Huth is very similar to Terry in terms of experience and will offer solidity at the back for the Villains, which has been lacking so far this season.
So, it’s about time supporters picked themselves up after the Terry disappointment and put their full faith in Huth if the Championship club secure his services.
