Aston Villa star at centre of controversy

Grealish.jpgAston Villa fans playing pool in The Transfer Tavern are discussing another controversial situation which is becoming a regular occurrence for one of their players.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Jack Grealish has again been caught out for the wrong reasons rather than what he should be doing on the pitch.

The midfielder was pictured in a Manchester nightclub on Saturday night following Aston Villa’s 4-0 at Everton. Grealish, who played 74 minutes of the defeat, was filmed enjoying a boozy night out with friends who appeared to be inhaling hippy crack from balloons.

Then on Sunday, upon his return to Birmingham, the youngster hosted a gathering in the city centre involving two blonde women at the Malmaison.

There is no suggestion that Grealish took part in inhaling from the balloons, but following his antics at the weekend, furious manager Remi Garde informed Grealish that he would be training with the development squad, when he arrived on Tuesday, early reports suggest Villa will not fine Grealish, but Garde is furious with the club in the perilous position it is that one of his players has let himself down in this way.

It is not the first time the youngster’s behaviour has caused concern, last summer he was reprimanded by Villa after being pictured passed out, this is also not the first time the player has been associated with hippy crack.

The Aston Villa fans in The Transfer Tavern are disappointed with Grealish’s attitude after previous warnings about his party lifestyle and just wish he would keep his head down and concentrate on his career.
