Rumours around the Transfer Tavern suggest that Aston Villa are looking to make a move for Dinamo Zagreb striker Armin Hodzic in an attempt to bolster their faltering attack.
The news has gone down a treat with the Villa fans sinking a few rounds at the bar and they’re in cheerful spirits after avoiding defeat at the weekend.
The Villans, who have only managed to net 13 goals in 15 matches this season, are desperately looking to strengthen their attack in January- and our punters believe this experienced European football would fit the bill perfectly.
Manager Remi Garde has been frustrated by his side’s low goal tally and the lack of quality they have had going forward, with Villa managing just three goals in their last four games.
Therefore, the Frenchman will look to add to this potential attacking options in the January transfer window, with Bosnian star Hodzic on their radar, according to Calciomercato.
The 21-year old centre forward spent time at Liverpool earlier in his career, although he failed to make an appearance for the Reds.
In addition, Hodzic has been playing in Arsenal’s Champions League group this season, scoring twice from four starts in the competition.
