Aston Villa have been rocked by striking controversy in recent weeks and their supporters here in the Tavern are rightfully frustrated with how things have unfolded in recent weeks.
The news centres around costly striker Ross McCormack, who was an £11million purchase from Fulham this summer. According to reports, he’s been refusing to turn up for training because of faulty doors on his house but fans here in the pub seem to think things run a little deeper than that.
But regardless of what’s been going on, Villa manager Steve Bruce has not been impressed with the conduct of his player, who is looking more and more likely to move on before the transfer window slams shut in a couple of days time.
