Aaron Tshibola’s chances at Aston Villa do not appear to be getting any better.
The midfielder, who has most recently been on loan with Kilmarnock, has had a difficult time at Villa Park since sealing a switch to the club from Reading in 2016.
He was continually on the fringes under Steve Bruce and spent time out on loan with Nottingham Forest and MK Dons as well as the Scottish Premiership side.
However, with Dean Smith at the helm, things do not look as though things in the Midlands will improve for him.
Although no actual team is named, Aston Villa are thought to have received some positive feedback.
It is understood that if they fail to receive any offers for him, Tshibola would make a return to Kilmarnock on loan once again for a fee of 800,000, with an option to sign him for 2.5million at the end of the season.
Thsibola’s future clearly appears to lye away from Aston Villa, with a move to Italy’s top-flight a real possibility.
Despite the positive feedback, it does remain to be seen if a club will look to take a chance on the midfielder.
However, a move in January looks to be on the cards regardless as the possibility of heading back to Kilmarnock is a minimum the 24-year-old can expect.
