These three additions to the Aston Villa setup are excellent and could be about to save their season.
The club have struggled for a while and it had been felt that a fresh approach from a new manager would be needed to get the best out of the team once again.
Smith had already been doing a great job with Brentford in the Championship this season, whilst Terry could help to bring in some new ideas having worked with some of the best managers in the game during his playing days.
Pitarch should also be considered a crucial signing for Villa as he will be able to help things run smoothly around the Villa Park outfit, whilst his experience at some of the biggest clubs in Spain should also be beneficial.
