Aston Villa will meet Leeds United at Villa Park next Sunday and it appears Dean Smith’s side may have already been given a lift ahead of the game.
Henri Lansbury, Mile Jedinak and Birkir Bjarnason could all be in contention for the game as Smith’s midfield starts to take shape after a number of players continue to be hit with injuries.
Albert Adomah is also thought to be nearing a return and could make his against Leeds, which will also give the Villans a timely boost.
However, Jack Grealish could also be available for the crucial game with the Elland Road outfit, although he will need to have a continual assessment on his shin after he missed the game against Stoke City at the weekend.
With there still being a week to go before the game against Leeds at Villa Park, Smith will have been pleased with the injury news which will come as a huge boost for the side.
The midfield has been severely depleted in recent weeks and the team has been able to pick from just a handful of them in their most recent game.
There is no doubt that the visit of Leeds will be tough, however, Villa will feel better about their chances if they were to have all five men available for the game.
