Speaking to LeicestershireLive following the Foxes' 1-0 victory over Birmingham City in the FA Cup, former Aston Villa winger Marc Albrighton confirmed he swapped shirts with midfielder Gary Gardner before going on to state that he will 'wash his car with it'.

Albrighton, who currently plies his trade at Premier League top six club Leicester City, played on the right-wing during their FA Cup showdown with Villa's arch rivals Birmingham - accumulating a 7.0 SofaScore rating whilst winning half of his ground duels at the King Power Stadium.

Gardner, a former Villa academy graduate turned rival player, came on mid-way through the second half - managing a meagre 40% pass accuracy over the 19 minutes he featured. After the game, Gardner and Albrighton swapped shirts - with the latter man going on to state that he will wash his car with the Birmingham jersey.

As a result, many Villa supporters are lauding their former hero - with one fan even claiming they 'never should have let him go'. Find all of their best comments down below.
