Lots of Aston Villa fans have shared their frustrations on Twitter after Jack Grealish didn’t make WhoScored’s Team of the Week.
Is Jack Grealish underrated?
While there were some fans who were happy for the summer signing to get recognised, there seemed to be even more who were extremely frustrated that the 24-year-old missed out.
Despite WhoScored’s ratings being decided by an algorithm, the calls for the captain’s inclusion were rife, with fans being delighted with his performance in their 2-2 draw with Manchester united.
Both players were involved in their side’s goals in the match. Targett produced the cross for Tyrone Mings’ equaliser, while Grealish managed to score a screamer to put his team ahead.
Villa have now gone two unbeaten after beating Newcastle United last Monday, but they face a tricky fixture against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
Plenty of fans responded to the tweet from the Villa fan account, as you can read below. One supporter even managed to throw in a sly dig at England manager Gareth Southgate, with the 49-year-old continuing to overlook Grealish.
Well done to Targett but how is Jack not there
