Loads of Aston Villa fans have been reacting to Tyrone Mings’ interview following the crucial 2-1 win against Watford, and it is fair to say that they enjoyed what they heard from the 26-year-old.
Mings was asked about a handball he made during the game, which was arguably worth a second yellow card on the night, before the interviewer gave him the opportunity to discuss the incident. However, the central defender opted against doing so and simply responded with “nothing” when asked what he had to say (clip shared by @villareport).
It was a good outing for Mings, who ended up scoring the winning goal for his side after Ezri Konsa’s shot deflected off him. He also managed to win five aerial duels, the third most in his team (via WhoScored), as Villa went on to limit Nigel Pearson’s men to just one goal.
The England international will now be hoping to guide the Midlands club to Wembley when they take on Leicester City in their Carabao Cup semi-final second leg tie.
Take a look at how Aston Villa fans reacted to Mings’ interview below…
