Aston Villa fans couldn’t get enough of incredible El Ghazi yesterday

Aston Villa fans had a bit of a panic yesterday when Jack Grealish and Tyrone Mings dropped out of the starting lineup for Bristol City, yet it didn’t matter in the end. Dean Smith’s side recorded a 2-1 win over the Robins, and Anwar El Ghazi stepped up to the plate in the absence of Grealish’s to help the Villains to all three points.

The Villains couldn’t have been more pleased yesterday, whilst they only won 2-1 against Lee Johnson’s Bristol City, it could have been a much bigger win. Tammy Abraham and Conor Hourihane scored the goals, but a lot of the home fans were desperate to give El Ghazi some credit for the win, as the Dutch winger was sublime throughout and more than did enough to drive the Villains onto win.
In the summer, there will be a lot of the Villa Park faithful who are desperate for Anwar El Ghazi to become a permanent addition to the club, more so if they find themselves promoted. Promotion is certainly still the dream for the fans too, and they’ll be desperate for El Ghazi to maintain his form from yesterday and partner up with Grealish to ensure they’re a top-flight club in a few month’s time.

Villa fans everywhere loved El Ghazi’s efforts yesterday and will hope the winger can he keep his form up until the end of the season and then sign permanently in summer.
