Aston Villa: Fans debate whether £40m price tag for Aleksandar Mitrovic is worth the risk

Some Aston Villa fans have been debating whether or not signing Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic would be worth the risk due to his price tag.
Dean Smith is after another forward after his new signing Wesley was ruled out for the rest of the season with knee ligament damage, along with goalkeeper Tom Heaton. The 25-year-old has got 18 goals in 26 appearances for the Cottagers (as per TransferMarkt) and his side sit 3rd in the Championship table, three points behind the automatic promotion places. And an interesting revelation about the player has since come to light, courtesy of the Daily Star.
They revealed that the Villans decided against raiding Fulham for the Serbian frontman after they were quoted £40m, which sparked huge debate between supporters on social media. One fan said that he was a “must buy”, while another was completely put off by the steep fee.
