Aston Villa have been linked to Liverpool youngster Rhian Brewster in the upcoming January transfer window – but many fans aren’t happy about it.
The Villans have got off to a decent start this campaign and find themselves with 11 points after 12 games. While they find themselves with more goals than any other side in the bottom half of the table with a game in hand (17), they are still being linked to more forwards.
Would you take Christian Benteke back?
According to the Daily Mail, the Birmingham-based side face competition from Crystal Palace, Leeds and Swansea in the upcoming window.
With Villa flirting outside the relegation zone, many fans don’t seem to want the 19-year-old. Despite showing qualities at youth level – including being the top scorer of the 2017 U17 World Cup as England were named champions – he is still yet to score in professional men’s football.
Fan account @Villareport tweeted the story, to which many fans replied negatively – including one who called it a “joke” and another who said he was worse than current youngster Keinan Davis.

We aren't going to train up other clubs player's without an option to buy and there's no way Liverpool give us an option. Non starter this
