Aston Villa: Fans engage in debate about Anwar El Ghazi and Trezeguet

Many Aston Villa fans have compared Anwar El Ghazi and Trezeguet in a social media debate, with the majority of fans claiming the former is the better player.
Dean Smith’s side are 19th in the Premier League table as things stand and nervously awaiting a decision on the resumption of the current campaign amid the coronavirus pandemic.
With fans eagerly waiting for footballing officials to make a decision, they have been engaging with each other via social media through various debates. One which has had plenty of Villa fans talking asks whether El Ghazi or Trezeguet is the superior player.
Will Jack Grealish remain at Aston Villa?
He will stay

No chance, he is off!

El Ghazi scored during the play-off final win against Derby County last season at Wembley, whilst Trezeguet arrived last summer to bolster Smith’s attack. Both players have had little impact this term with Villa struggling to find consistent form in England’s top flight.
Reacting to the question on the two wingers via @Total_Villa, these fans shared their opinions…
🇳🇱 Anwar El-Ghazi vs Trezeguet 🇪🇬
Who is the better winger in your opinion and why? #avfc pic.twitter.com/EgIuaEWOdw

AEG has the stats going forward but has missed some sitters. On his day can be unplayable but needs to work harder for me especially tracking back in the system we play.
Trez is the opposite works hard but end product is mainly lacking. Now settled expect to improve

People are always harsh on wingers. There’s not that many in the world that are super consistent. Having said that… Trez is a headless chicken. Ghazi imo has proved he can change bits of his game when appropriate and has got that something outta nothing factor. Gahzi 4 me

El Ghazi it’s not even a debate. Trezeguet has always been overhyped simply because of his name which isn’t his real name. If we knew him as Mohammed Hassan he’d get slated.

El Ghazi all day long… But has to play left…

El Ghazi has everything to be a top top player. He just needs more consistency.
Trezeguet is a headless chicken and this league is too much of a step up for him.

Squad players at best #notgoodeoughforthepremiership

Would go as far as saying elghazi is one of the worst footballers at the club.
