Aston Villa: Fans love image of Jack Grealish and Bjorn Engels following Spurs collapse

Aston Villa fans have been left in awe of an image of Jack Grealish comforting Bjorn Engels following the Belgian’s mistake in the 3-2 defeat to Tottenham.
The Villans paid the price for some shoddy defending yet again on Sunday, as the absence of Tyrone Mings was sorely felt. The England star missed out with tonsillitis, meaning Engles played in the back three alongside Kortney Hause and Ezri Konsa.
And after clawing their way back from a 2-1 deficit and dominating large parts of the second half, the hosts surrendered the points when Engels allowed Son Heung-min to race through and score a stoppage-time winner. While it would be all to easy to get on the 25 year-old’s back after such a costly error, fans are gathering in support of the defender after seeing how their skipper reacted after the match.
Check out the image in question and some of the best Twitter reactions down below, where there is of course plenty of praise for Grealish as well…
Leadership! Our season won’t be defined by Tottenham at home, but have to say @JackGrealish was unplayable at times, our Captain @AVFCOfficial 👏🏻
