Aston Villa fans on Twitter call for a Mile Jedinak return tomorrow

Aston Villa fans have bee struggling as of late, their club hasn’t been in the best of form and don’t look like making a playoff spot at the rate that they’re currently going. Dean Smith’s side are winless in five straight games in all competitions, but they’ll be desperate to change that as Ipswich come to Villa Park tomorrow, especially is Mile Jedinak starts.

With the Australian midfielder back in contention, the Villains woukd love nothing more than to see the experienced midfielder come into their side ahead of Glenn Whelan, who is only ‘close to fitness’ apparently. Whilst Jedinak may not be in his pomp as a player, he has the leadership qualities and ability to star for the club in the tough moments, and this Saturday could prove to be one of those.

On paper, facing Ipswich at home looks like a really easy game to get your form back. However, in the Championship, nothing is a certainty, and they have to be near their best to see off any opponent in the second-tier of English football, including Ipswich Town. The fans will be looking to Jedinak to lead by example and be a leader on the pitch, with a midfield commander being what they’ve missed over the last few weeks.

The Villains are delighted to have Jedinak back in contention and will hope he can help turn their fortunes around with a win on Saturday.
