Aston Villa: Fans praise Trezeguet’s performance against Wolves

Aston Villa were beaten by local rivals Wolves on Sunday, going down 2-1 at Molineux (via BBC Sport).

It was an unhappy afternoon for Dean Smith’s side, with goals from Ruben Neves and Raul Jimenez proving enough to secure all three points for Wolves.

One positive that Villa can take away from the game, however, was the fact that Egyptian winger Trezeguet managed to get on the scoresheet.

The 25-year-old fired in a consolation goal in the 92nd minute, meaning that he has now scored in back-to-back Premier League games having also netted against Liverpool previously (via Transfermarkt).

It was a good overall performance by Trezeguet in truth. Indeed, as well as scoring he also managed to play one key pass, complete four successful dribbles, make two successful tackles and two interceptions in an action packed outing at Molineux (via WhoScored).
