Aston Villa: Fans rave about Douglas Luiz after Watford showing

Loads of Aston Villa fans have been raving about Douglas Luiz following his display in the club’s dramatic 2-1 win against Watford last night.
The 21-year-old entered the fray as a second-half substitute and made quite the impact after he managed to draw Villa level just before the 70th minute. Supporters have since been lauding him for his overall display, and it is not hard to see why.
During his time on the pitch, he managed to register a pass success rate of 82.6%, leaving him in Villa’s top five for that department (via WhoScored). Luiz also managed to get one tackle in for his side, with only Marvelous Nakamba and Ezri Konsa managing to finish the game with more (both 2).
Indeed, based on the above, Luiz did fairly well on the night — and that has not gone unnoticed as some took to Twitter to dub him as a wonderkid and compare him to Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante.
