Aston Villa: Fans react to reported Danny Drinkwater punishment

A lot of Aston Villa fans aren’t happy after the latest reports suggest that Danny Drinkwater is only going to be fined two weeks wages after headbutting teammate Jota Peleteiro in training according to The Sun.
Earlier this week, the two had an altercation, with Drinkwater being sent home early from training, and many believed this would be the end of his short loan at the club.
The midfielder arrived from Chelsea in January after his loan move at Burnley was terminated. Since he has joined the club, he has only made four appearances, including his debut against Manchester City in which he was heavily criticised.
Indeed, fans feel like the club are currently wasting money by keeping him on loan, something that’s hard to argue with given his reported conduct and the lack of impact he’s had since moving to the club.
Here’s what fans have been saying about the situation:

Send him back, last thing we need is this kind of disruption and negativity in the changing room.
