Plenty of Aston Villa fans have reacted to Tyrone Mings' latest tweet on the potential restart of the Premier League.

With the recent pandemic causing a standstill to life as we know it and the footballing season, a potential return for England's top flight has been much debated.

Potential plans to resume the 2019/2020 season have been discussed of late, whilst further claims have been made about a reluctance from clubs to potentially play at 10 neutral venues or behind closed doors.

Villa, who sit 19th in the league table and in danger of being relegated to the Championship, just one-year after gaining promotion via the play-off final, have one game in hand over their rivals.

Mings, who has been in good form this season, contributing to his call-up to the England national side and appearance under Gareth Southgate, has now given his thoughts on a return to action.

The centre-back poked fun at the fact if a top-half player says they don't want to return to action then nothing is said. However if a player from a club near the bottom of the table speaks, then there is an overwhelming response from fans suggesting that the player in question is only saying that as they want to avoid relegation.
