Aston Villa: Fans take to social media to call for Keinan Davis to star

Aston Villa will be returning to Villa Park to host a Premier League clash for the first time since May 7th 2016, when they played out a 0-0 draw with Newcastle United. This time, though, there’s more optimism around the place.
The boss confirms that James Chester, @Kortney_30 and @J_Kodjia will all miss Saturday’s clash with Bournemouth.

When that game took place against the Magpies, the Villans were already down and out having had their relegation confirmed weeks before. This time, it’s a new season, although Dean Smith does have a few injuries to contend with, including a knock to Jonathan Kodjia.
The fans, though, as you will see in the tweets below, aren’t too worried about Kodjia’s absence, and have called upon one man to step up in the replies to their club’s injury update. That man is young Keinan Davis, the 21-year-old striker who made seven senior appearances last season, Transfermarkt, and could be in line for a spot on the bench and maybe even his Premier League debut against Bournemouth.

The Villa fans, as you can see, have full faith in Keinan Davis and will be backing the youngster to make his mark if he does come off the bench.
