Aston Villa fans have been made to sweat over the last few weeks as rumours have circled around their star man, Tammy Abraham. The young Englishman on-loan from Chelsea was believed to be nearing a move to Wolves, however, Sky Sports have claimed that Chelsea have no interest in selling the striker this month and won’t be recalling him.

Tammy Abraham has been the man that the Villains have needed this season. Time and time again the youngster has delivered with goals when Villa Park has been desperate for them, and the fact that he’s the Championship’s joint top goalscorer will come as no surprise after seeing the way he fired for Bristol City a couple of years back in the Championship.
At the age of just 21, it’s no surprise at all to see that Abraham is being looked at as a prospect by a number of teams in both the Premier League and the Championship, but if Villa were to lose their star man this month then any chance of promotion would be left in the gutter. The Villains’ best hope of keeping Abraham is gaining promotion this season and then using the Premier League money to sign the goal-getter on a permanent deal over the summer, although it will be easier said than done.
