And, it’s clear to see that the former Stoke City midfielder’s quality was dearly missed against Hull City, Queens Park Rangers and Bolton Wanderers, as they immediately got back to winning ways when he returned to the squad midweek.
So, the Villains could look to bring him back into the starting lineup after coming on as a substitute against the Royals, as his experience could prove crucial against a Norwich City side who are desperate for a win.
