Aston Villa could look to make further signings in the January transfer window to bolster their aims of achieving promotion to the Premier League.
Dean Smith has already added Lovre Kalinic to his side to try and ease their concerns in goal, with Orjan Nyland putting in a number of mixed performances.
However, it now appears that the Villans boss is looking to add to his midfield ranks with the addition of another international man.
The Serbia international midfielder has refused to commit his future at the Spanish side and Aston Villa are thought to have made a move to sign him.
The Villa Park outfit are looking to use Juanfran to their advantage, as the former Celta player is a scout for the Midlands club and is thought to be in talks with the 25-year-old’s brother about a possible move to England.
With Radoja’s refusal to sign a new contract at Celta de Vigo and an alleged desire to play football within England, Aston Villa could have a real chance of landing the international midfielder in what would be a coup of a deal.
The Villans have already secured a big transfer in terms of adding Kalinic to their ranks, however, the 25-year-old would certainly bolster their options within the middle of the park as he has the ability to provide the defence with extra help by playing in front of them.
Using Juanfran could be an excellent move by Villa to land the Radoja and they could be able to sign the Serbian on a bargain fee in the winter.
