The Transfer Tavern has been booming with rumours ever since the Premier League season has ended, and it looks like the Aston Villa fans might be in for a long summer.
According to the Birmingham Mail, Villa ace Jordan Amavi is attracting a lot of interest from teams in Italy and France.
The 22-year old defender had a horrific end to his season as he sustained a rupture in this anterior cruciate ligament, sidelining him for 6 months.
However his rehabilitation is believed to have gone well and now other clubs are looking at signing the Frenchman before he plays another game for the Midlands oufit.
Caretaker boss Eric Black, who is widely expected to be replaced by Roberto Di Matteo, still hopes that the left back stays with the club when he returns to full fitness.
‘I don’t see any long-term issue with him and I’m sure he will be back as strong as he was before, hopefully at Villa’, he said.
Villa fans… Should Amavi stay? Or could the money you gain benefit your club this season?
