Aston Villa will return to action with Dean Smith and John Terry at the helm for the first time against Swansea City on Saturday afternoon.
The Villans sacked Steve Bruce just prior to the international break, which saw Kevin MacDonald take charge of their defeat to Millwall.
However, Smith and Terry have since been brought into the club and have spend time on the training pitch getting their new team ready to face Swansea.
James Chester is likely to make a return to the team after he served his one-match suspension during the defeat to Millwall.
Yannick Bolasie could be in contention for a starting place, as the Everton loanee had been utilised from the substitutes bench during Bruce’s reign.
Scott Hogan is another who could benefit from Smith’s arrival, as the pair worked together extremely successfully at Brentford before the striker made the first move to head to the Midlands.
There will be a sense of newfound life at Villa Park and the game with Swansea will give fans the first chance to see Smith’s work.
The Villa faithful will be expecting to see a number of improvements from their side and a win against the Welsh outfit would be the best possible start for the new management team.
However, Villa have struggled to find victories this season, having won just once in their last 11 games and will need to put in a solid performance if they are to get all three points on Saturday.
