Aston Villa will want to bounce back from their defeat to Wigan Athletic last weekend when they meet Hull City at Villa Park on Saturday.
The Villans suffered a second straight loss and have not won a Championship match since their 1-0 victory away at Swansea City on Boxing Day.
Their poor form has seen their chances of winning promotion take a dent and Dean Smith will be keen to see his side change their fortunes.
And, it appears he may have been handed a huge boost ahead of their meeting with Hull.
The Ivorian attacker has been out with a knock and missed the defeat to Wigan, however, he will be able to make his return to a squad that has been depleted by injury.
Henri Lansbury, Jack Grealish and Axel Tuanzebe all remain absent whilst Mile Jedinak has an outside chance of featuring.
Kodjia’s availability will have handed Smith and Aston Villa a boost ahead of their game against Hull.
Although the Ivorian has not hit his best form this season – just six goals in 25 appearances in the Championship – he is a handful for defences and an attacking threat.
He has the potential to be the difference in games and Villa will be hoping he can produce one of his best performances for them on Saturday.
