Aston Villa will look to bounce back quickly from their defeat to Norwich City in midweek when they head to Loftus Road and take on Queens Park Rangers on Friday night.
The games have been coming thick and fast for Dean Smith since taking over from Steve Bruce, having overseen one win and one loss.
The Villans will head to the capital against a side that are in encouraging form under Steve McClaren this season, despite having a poor start.
John McGinn is back and in contention to return to the starting line-up after he missed the fixture against Norwich due to suspension.
Tammy Abraham, who was forced off in the game against the Canaries with a head injury, has been declared fit, whilst Yannick Bolasie is expected to return to the matchday squad after being left out altogether.
Albert Adomah, who also picked up an injury in the game, and Keinan Davis remain absent for the Villans.
McGinn, Abraham and Bolasie’s availability for Smith and Aston Villa will be a huge boost for the side on Friday night.
The Villans will need to be at their best when they head to London and having those three men in the side will give them the confidence to get a positive result from the game.
As mentioned, QPR will be a tough test as they are on a fine stretch of form recently, but Smith’s side will know a win will take them into the top half of the Championship, even if it is just for a day or so.
