Aston Villa: These fans congratulate Keinan Davis

Keinan Davis got his first meaningful minutes of the season for Aston Villa in their 6-1 Carabao Cup victory over Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday.
He played 82 minutes during that game before being substituted off for Cameron Archer but had only managed three minutes across the campaign’s first three games, which came at the end of the 2-1 loss against AFC Bournemouth.
What was perhaps even more significant for the 21-year-old, is that he got his first senior goal for the club since January 2018, when he scored in a 3-1 loss against Peterborough United, as per Transfermarkt.
Understandably, the striker seemed pretty happy with how the evening had gone:

His was the fourth goal of the game, which he scored by getting on the end of a low-driven ball into the box from Jack Grealish and turning it into the net first-time, as shown in the highlights video on Crewe Alexandra’s YouTube channel.
He contributed more than just the goal though, playing 3 key passes, winning possession back twice and completing 81% of his passes, as per SofaScore.
With the 21-year-old’s performance in mind, there have been plenty of Villa fans congratulating him for his contribution to the win.
A selection of Twitter reaction to his performance, including posts from impressed Aston Villa fans, can be seen below:
