Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hoping for brighter days ahead under Steve Bruce and want to see their young stars emerge as much as possible.
The Villans have suffered some pretty tough days in recent times but there really is hope now that under Bruce they’ll start clawing their way back into the Premier League.
That, though, will not happen this season and so how their manager deals in the summer window and handles his young stars could be pivotal to 2017/18’s fortunes.
Indeed, we’ve seen it confirmed via Villa’s official Twitter account that one of their young players is going to further his footballing education out on loan at Lincoln City, with the idea surely that he comes back ready to play a bigger part:

Lincoln City, of course, are one of the stories of the season with the way they have reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup and so Calder will obviously hope to be a part of things as they look to end their season strongly.
A good idea, Villa fans? Let us know below!
