Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern are feeling really positive these days which is saying a lot after their recent plight.
Not too long ago the Villans were flirting with relegation to League 1 but since the arrival of Steve Bruce things have largely looked up and they certainly seem a side in the ascendancy right now.
The men from Villa Park won again at the weekend against Norwich and if they don’t make the play-offs this season they certainly will be there or thereabouts next year you feel.
Indeed, the likes of Dr. Tony Xia should also be thanked for the stability they have brought to the club and after a fan got in touch to ask if he knew someone to buy Coventry City – he replied in typically polite fashion:

Indeed, Villa do seem to be lucky that they got him in last season, then, and Villa fans have certainly reacted in light of that.
