Aston Villa been less than impressive in recent times as they continue to slip down the table under Steve Bruce.
The Villains failed to make the most of home support yesterday as they were beaten 2-1 by Sheffield Wednesday, despite a wonder strike from John McGinn. Although, things are looking up for the Midlands club, as according to the Express, Jack Grealish is set to sign a new deal at the club.
Jack Grealish is set to put pen to paper to extend his deal with Aston Villa.
The Englishman played a starring role for Villa last season and was a target for Tottenham in the summer.
But, Villa refused to sell the 22-year-old, who has less than two years left on his contract.
Tottenham are still believed to be keen to move for Grealish, who will have a £60 million release clause inserted into his new deal.
Jack Grealish has been Aston Villa’s standout performer for a long period of time now, so it comes as no surprise that they’re finally rewarding him for all of his efforts.
Aston Villa don’t look like forcing an issue in the Championship this season, which means that they may have to wave goodbye to him in January or even the summer if they don’t begin to improve.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
