Aston Villa supporters are looking forward to seeing their side go head-to-head with Swansea City on Saturday afternoon with a new-look managerial team leading them into battle.
Dean Smith's first challenge as Villa manager will certainly dominate the headlines this weekend, but an intriguing sub-plot looks set to take place with Tammy Abraham preparing to face his former club.
Abraham spent the previous campaign on loan at Swansea City but he failed to impress in the Premier League with a side who struggled for potency all season.
After scoring 23 goals from 41 Championship appearances for Bristol City in the 2016/17 season it's no surprise that the Swans faithful were expecting much more from the Chelsea loanee.
The 21-year-old centre-forward is back in the Championship once again and he has already managed to score 3 goals from 6 appearances - a record which suggests he could emulate the electric return he boasted during his time at Bristol City.
But Abraham has an extra advantage which should ensure that he goes beyond the 23 goals he managed in his previous Championship spell: the presence of John Terry.
Indeed, Terry's arrival at Villa Park has provided Abraham with an influential coach who could enhance his development.
With 78 international caps and 492 Premier League appearances, Terry is as experienced as they come and his history in central defence has provided him with the tools to offer excellent advice to budding centre-forwards.
A man who was notoriously difficult to bypass, Terry possesses the knowledge and expertise to help Abraham consistently get the better of his opposite number this season.
Abraham is already beginning to look like a talent capable of terrorising Championship defenders at Villa, but if he is willing to take advice from Terry there is no doubt he will grow into an unstoppable striker at the spearhead of Smith's attack.
